Our goal isn’t just to keep Presbyterians informed, but to equip a church that’s ready to engage, adapt, and maybe even surprise itself.

  • the seattle school

    The Seattle School

The graduates of The Seattle School show up to grief, joy, and everything in between. They offer care that's actually embodied, not just credentialed. Since matriculating its first cohort in 1997, The Seattle School has trained pastors, counselors, artists, and leaders to sit with their own mess before trying to help anyone else with theirs. It's grown into a community of 1,650 alumni who've learned that the beauty and the brokenness are usually tangled up in the same story: yours, theirs, everyone's.

If that sounds like the kind of formation you're looking for, come find out more.

  • the nones project

    The Nones Project

The Nones Project is a research initiative exploring how Americans who have left organized religion are constructing meaning, community, and spiritual identity outside traditional religious institutions. Co-led by Tony Jones and Ryan Burge with support from the Templeton Foundation, the project investigates the cultural, sociological, and theological dimensions of America's fastest-growing religious demographic — those who check "none" on surveys of religious affiliation. The research identifies four distinct types within this population: the Nones in Name Only (NiNOs), who retain informal religious ties; the Spiritual But Not Religious (SBNRs), who maintain active meaning-making practices outside institutions; the Dones, who have deliberately left organized religion; and the Secular, who hold no religious or spiritual commitments.
